Every country town has a club. The life of the club is captured in this painting. Bob and Shirley, Brooksie and Russ chating away or sipping their favourite beverage at the bar. There is always a pool or snooker table in use. Others are enjoying a meal. The band is just that little bit loud for comfort – but hey, that is what you get in a country club.
